Coach
Mike Kellermeyer
Mike Kellermeyer is a hockey enthusiast from Fort Wayne. He played junior hockey in Toledo, winning a National Championship in his final season. Mike went on to captain the Eastern Michigan University hockey team during his college years. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching and has amassed 20 years of experience. He has led six teams in Indy to state championships and coached nine players at the D-1 level. Mike has also instructed at Players Edge Hockey School for six years and coached professionally for the Danville Dashers in the FHL. Currently, he serves as an assistant coach at Purdue University and runs Big Rookie Hockey, an adult-oriented hockey camp. Mike resides in Westfield with his wife and two daughters.

Scott Bricker
Scott Bricker joins the Mid-America Generals in 2013-2014 for his first full season as assistant coach, focusing on the defense. For the last two seasons Scott coached the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks high school team in the Ohio High School Hockey Association. Scott has been a hockey coach developing young players since he moved back to Columbus, Ohio 7 years ago. Currently, he also instructs with the Junior Jackets learn to play hockey program, which develops youth and adult hockey players in the Columbus area.
Born in Toledo Ohio, Scott played his youth hockey in Columbus. He went on to play his junior hockey back in Toledo, for the Toledo Cherokee where he won a USA National Championship in 1998. After his junior career Scott went on to play college Hockey for Eastern Michigan University.
Scott lives in Blacklick, Ohio with his wife, Katie, and two sons, Luke and Mason.

mARK tURNER
Mark Turner is originally from Windsor, Ontario, where he played minor hockey before being drafted by the Sudbury Wolves in the OHL at the age of 16. He went on to play 16 years of professional hockey in North America and England.
After retiring from professional hockey, Mark began working as an assistant coach and doing video analysis for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL. During his time with the team, they won back-to-back OHL & Memorial Cup championships, which is awarded to the top junior team in Canada.
In addition to his coaching experience, Mark has also coached at many hockey schools during his off-seasons while playing professional hockey. He is a certified High Performance Coach and Coach at Hockey Excellence Program U15 in 2019 & 2023. He trains women & men players individually on and off the ice. With his years of experience playing and coaching the game, Mark has developed a deep understanding of hockey and has a wealth of knowledge to share with others.

Ron LEEF
Ron Leef is a highly accomplished hockey coach with a rich background in both playing and coaching the game. He played two years in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) before attending a tryout with the Vancouver Canucks. Following that, Leef embarked on a successful six-year career in the International Hockey League (IHL) with the Fort Wayne Komets, where he established himself as a pure goal scorer. During his time with the Komets, Leef achieved significant milestones, including being named the 1982 Fort Wayne Rookie of the Year and amassing 57 goals and 120 points in the 1982-1983 season. His exceptional performance on the ice led to his induction into the Komets Hall of Fame, a testament to his impact on the team’s history With over 18 years of coaching experience, Coach Leef has become a respected figure in the hockey community.
He has coached at various levels, including youth, high school, AAA, and college, bringing his wealth of knowledge and passion for the game to each coaching role. In addition to his coaching endeavors, Ron Leef owns and runs Gotta-Getta Goal, a hockey skills training program based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Gotta-Getta Goal specializes in shooting lessons and other hockey skills training for players of all levels. Leef’s program provides an opportunity for players to improve their skills under the guidance of an experienced coach who understands the nuances of the game at the highest level. Kayne Pasquet
Kayne Pasquet is a nursing student currently enrolled at Purdue University and plays on the ACHA D3 team. Prior to this, he played three years of junior hockey in Canada in the Prairie Junior Hockey League, followed by two years in the Western States Hockey League. After concluding his junior playing career, he attended McKendree University to play ACHA D1 hockey, where his team won the conference championship. Alongside his athletic endeavors, Kayne graduated from McKendree with a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology.
